Transforming Cloud Connectivity & Security in Distributed Networks
Today’s digital transformation initiatives frequently begin with moving applications and data to the cloud. But traditional networking and security infrastructure, such as backhauling data from remote locations to central offices over MPLS lines, can’t keep up.
Fortunately, new approaches that also move connectivity and security to the cloud are rapidly overcoming these hurdles. Technologies such as direct-to-cloud SD-WAN and site-to-site VPNs dramatically cut the cost of connectivity. However, they put pressure on other parts of the organization to adopt new ways of defending each site against internet intruders, protecting the use of web content, and securing data stored in cloud apps.
In this webcast, we’ll discuss a new, integrated approach to connectivity and security. View the webinar today!
IT security used to be about keeping intruders out and selectively letting in friendly visitors, which was best accomplished with a range of perimeter security and end-point solutions. Download this asset to learn more how the landscape has fundamentally shifted since, with much of this shift accelerating in the last 2-3 years.

Security threats are persistent and growing. While many organizations have adopted a defense-in-depth strategy — utilizing anti-virus protection, firewalls, intruder prevention systems, sandboxing, and secure web gateways — most IT departments still fail to explicitly protect the Domain Name System (DNS). "High-profile cyber attacks seem to occur almost daily in recent years. Clearly security threats are persistent and growing. While many organizations have adopted a defense-in-depth strategy — utilizing anti-virus protection, firewalls, intruder prevention systems, sandboxing, and secure web gateways — most IT departments still fail to explicitly protect the Domain Name System (DNS). This oversight leaves a massive gap in network defenses.
But this infrastructure doesn’t have to be a vulnerability. Solutions that protect recursive DNS (rDNS) can serve as a simple and effective security control point for end users and devices on your network. Read this white paper to learn more about how rDNS is putting your enterprise at risk, why you need a security checkpoint at this infrastructural layer, how rDNS security solutio

With breaches today often going undetected for months or years, many organizations must now accept the very real possibility that intruders have already compromised their systems, regardless of the organization’s security posture. Today, compromises are measured in minutes and the speed of response is measured in days. Enterprises the world over are realizing that to close the gap, they need to evolve their security operations from being a largely reactive unit (waiting for alerts that indicate a threat) to being proactively on the hunt for new attacks that have evaded detection.
When an incident does occur, the speed of your response will dictate the extent to which you can minimize the impact. In the case of a malicious attack, it takes on average over 7 months to identify a breach, and nearly two and a half additional months to contain the incident. Every second counts, and while the clock is ticking, the cost of the breach is rapidly increasing as well.

Measurable performance is a key factor when selecting an Application Delivery Controller(ADC) solution for modern data centers. In this report, Tolly evaluates the performance of several Citrix NetScaler ADC models vs. that of comparable products. Learn how NetScaler fared and provided up to 480% the performance of F5.

Today’s enterprises face new requirements for their datacenter
and cloud architectures, from keeping pace cost-effectively with
fast-growing traffic to ensuring optimal application
performance no matter how quickly business needs or the
enterprise environment evolve. At the same time, IT must reduce
costs and datacenter sprawl, ensure security and uptime, and
prepare for a new generation of cloud computing initiatives.
While many Application Delivery Controller (ADC) solutions
promise to meet demanding customer needs, the reality often
falls short. Taking a closer look at the available options and how
they measure up against the criteria that matter most, it
becomes clear that NetScaler beats the competition—providing
better performance and scalability than F5 Networks, Inc.

For the first time in several years, there has been a sharp increase in denial of service (DOS) attacks. In the past, these attacks have been directed at the networks of large companies. Now we are seeing the emergence of attacks targeting smaller companies and higher layers in the computing stack. Intruders are using low-bandwidth attacks disguised as legitimate transactions to bypass firewalls and basic intrusion prevention measures. Organizations need a better way to combat and prevent these attacks, and the right ADC can provide the solution. Learn how Citrix NetScaler can help protect against DOS attacks in the report, Citrix NetScaler: A Powerful Defense Against DOS Attacks (link).

Security practitioners and threat actors are constantly developing new techniques to gain advantages over the other. In recent years, security teams have stepped up their approaches to protecting their infrastructure by fortifying their network perimeter defenses, building up protections against advanced malware, upgrading vulnerable operating systems, automating the delivery of patches to stop exploits, and developing counter-measures to spot intruders. The threat actors looking to circumvent these measures are shifting their attention toward the next weakest link in the security chain – the user.

Gone are the days of a clearly defined network perimeter, in which you can confidently rely on static rules to detect intruders. As the cyber threat landscape has evolved, so has the vendor landscape. With all the options available, do you know which threat detection solutions to invest in – much less which ones will still exist in five years?

Similarities and differences between SIEM and UEBA solutions
Predictions on the future of these two markets
How QRadar’s single-platform approach to SIEM and UEBA can help you not only detect more threats, but also more accurately determine if a threat is real versus benign
Making corporate data accessible through Wi-Fi networks means intruders and other unwanted visitors can easily access such networks if proper precautions and tools aren't used to protect them. This paper will discuss best practices in all five areas to secure the enterprise network, whether wired or wireless.
